Hugs for Homeless Animals offers prizes for winning submissions from kids based on a monthly picture and story. Kids get out your cameras and take pictures of your favorite pet pal. Write a story in your own words to go along with your photo entry and submit it to us for consideration in our Kids "My Favorite Pet" Contest.
The winner's photo and story will be posted here for all to see!  Entries may be submitted online, e-mailed or sent via regular mail. There are no restrictions to the number of submissions you may enter. To qualify, you must be between the age of 5 and 14 years old.
Here are some helpful tips. - Plan your photo.
- Set the scene.
- No people in the photo.
- Keep it safe. Do no harm to the animals.
- Focus on your pet's personality.
- Minimize background clutter.
- Take your time. Practice your best patience skills.
- Make it interesting for your pet.
- Use creativity and personality in your story.
Photos and stories will be judged for creativity, clarity and interest. |
