Description: Buster is a handsome brown tabby and white bobtail with beautiful green eyes. He's around 5 years old, an excellent age in my opinion - still young and playful, but past all the "kitten crazies". Buster was a stray that a kind couple rescued and brought to TCR. To be honest, he appears to be a short haired cat who lost most of his tail in an accident and is not genetically tailless. However, we've decided to make Buster an honorary Manx because of his incredible personality. He's very loving, adores being petted, and becomes so excited upon seeing you that he even trills. Overnight, Buster can usually be found snoozing away all snuggled up against my back. While most cats consider adoption fairs to be about as much fun as hacking up a nasty hairball, Buster thinks they're the "cat's meow"! He loves to sit in an available lap and greet all the visitors. Buster is friendly and affectionate toward everyone, regardless of the visitor's age or gender. Considering his previous hard life as a stray, Buster's affectionate and friendly personality is all the more amazing! Buster is also excellent with other cats, playing gently even with cats half his size. He’s a true gentleman! There is one thing that does bother Buster DOGS! He is terrified of them, especially large to medium sized pooches! Why? Maybe he was attacked by one during his previous life as a stray, losing most of his tail to the encounter. Buster is safe now, but definitely needs a home without dogs. While not a "needy" cat, Buster does love attention and company, both human and feline. He would not do well as someone's only cat, unless you were home for most of each day with sufficient time to spend with him. This sociable little fellow would just be too lonely and unhappy left alone for the greater part of each day. So, if you're looking for a friendly and affectionate lap cat and think you have the kind of home life he would enjoy, then definitely consider Buster! Buster is vaccinated, vetted, wormed, neutered, microchipped, and is FeLV/FIV negative. His adoption fee is $95.
