Description: Maizie is a sweet, active girl who insists that she is not really 12 years old. She loves to go for fast-paced walks, play soccer and tennis ball, and run around the yard to find those pesky squirrels. But she also likes to just sleep nearby while you work or relax. She is sweet-tempered and enjoys meeting people and dogs on walks, but she'd rather you not bring those dogs home with you. She has been someone's beloved pet-she knows sit, come, down, shake, and more. She can be somewhat bossy when other dogs are around, especially when she has food or her favorite toys, and she doesn't shy away from a fight. She has far more interest in playing with people than with other dogs (she mostly likes to get in on a bit of a chase), so she will be happiest in a one-dog household. We don't know how she does with cats, but she shows an intense interest in exotic birds. Maizie is negative for Heartworm.
