Description: Hello, my name is Ricki and my foster family thinks I’m a Siamese cross. Yes, I know, I’m a black cat and how in the world could I be part Siamese? Well, take a look at my eyes. They are as cross-eyed as they can get. Most Siamese are this way. Plus I have the “thin” look of a Siamese, with those long legs. I’m a CUDDLER. I also have a pretty big pur for such a little man. I’m about 3mos old as of 7/13/07. I love to rub up against foster mom’s fingers while she is typing. This really annoys her but I just keep doing it. Sometimes I will even get a letter or number in there too. She says it takes her twice as long to type something because I won’t leave her alone. I will even pass up food just to annoy her. Ahhh, the life of a cat. I do tend to use my nails a lot. Meaning I will jump and grab with my nails. Foster mom has yelled OUCH to me before. I’m hoping I will eventually learn to retract my claws. Just so you know if you have little kids to know that I will CLING on to them and they may get scratched. I don’t mean to do it but I want to make sure I’m not going to fall to the floor!
So, just because I’m black doesn’t mean I don’t have personality. I DO. Did you know that most black animals are in shelters for LONG periods of times because they are commonly looked over? Doesn’t that sadden you? You could be passing up a really nice young lad, just because I’m black.
