Description: Hi! I'm Casey. I am completely house trained. I love to go on quick walks or to jog. Snuggling is also a favorite activity of mine, and I really, really like to be by people all of the time, even when they sleep. (I have a spot in bed right next to foster mom, and when the alarm goes off in the morning I snuggle even closer and get a belly rub.) Did I mention that I really like people? I like all of them… big people, little people, medium sized people, I hope I didn’t forget anyone. (Foster mom says a little translation might be in order, I guess what I actually mean is that I like adults, children and teen-agers.)
I am full grown and about 65 LBS and I have a white star on my chest. I’ve been told it gives me character. Oh- since I have been in my foster home I am learning all kinds of things! I now know: Sit, Down, Stay and Shake. Foster mom says I am quite intelligent, whatever that means.
I do like to try new things…foods especially. Foster mom says I am the only dog she has ever met who likes both black olives and pineapple. I do like cherry ice cream too, but we won’t get into that story! (How was I supposed to know foster mom didn’t set it on the table for me? I got a little heck for helping myself, but it was worth it.) Foster mom says we have to be careful about what I try though because some things just aren’t meant for dogs.

Foster mom says: Casey is a true sweetie. He absolutely loves to be included in everything. Casey behaves perfectly all day at home alone, uncrated. (He does think the spare bedroom is his, and prefers to nap on the bed rather than his pillow.) He CANNOT be in a house with a cat. (He has run up to the TV and barked and growled when there was a cat on!) Casey truly loves people, and "attaches" himself to you when he trusts you. He is very handsome, and makes a great companion.
