Description: Hello, my name is Kalypso or Kallie for short. I really don’t know my name at all and I have been in the foster home for over a month. I don’t know, maybe it’s just not the right name for me and I’m protesting with my selective hearing. I really don’t think my foster family is going to change my name though. They are stubborn like that.
I have beautiful calico markings. I am about 1-3yrs old. I don’t really have much “kitten” in me.
I really need a quiet home with few animals. I’m not liking my home with dogs, cats, ferrets, and birds. Plus they have four teenagers and they tend to bring more teenagers in the house and it’s just too much for me to have to keep track of.
I do like my foster dad. My foster dad says that I have a catitude. He says he can be petting me and petting me and then all of a sudden I don’t want to be petted like that anymore and will give him a little bite. I’m not mean about it, I just have to tell him that I need to be petted somewhere else. Have you ever been “petted” in the same spot over and over again and it starts to hurt? Well, same thing here. I can’t TELL him with my voice so I let him know in a different way. He then stops and puts me down. He says I’m a typical female. He is a funny man, but I do like him.
I’m not quite ready for my forever home yet because I need to be spayed and microchipped. I’m not really looking forward to that but if it helps me find a home sooner then I guess I’m ready!
I love sitting on the bird cage and watching everything around me. I also like sleeping in the bathroom window sill or on the kitchen table. Foster mom absolutely does NOT like me on her table so I try not to get caught but sometimes I’m sleeping so soundly I don’t hear her come in. Will you let me sleep on your table? Will you be my forever home? I’m anxiously awaiting for someone to take notice of my beautiful markings. If you are interested please let us know so we can schedule a visit.
