Ruff-Spots Animal Welfare Foundation, Inc. was founded to help animal shelters and rescue organizations in Newfoundland and Labrador spay and neuter adoptable animals. By having these shelter animals "fixed", we hope to improve both their chances of being adopted and their quality of life.
Through our outreach programs, we aim to promote:
*The spaying and neutering of all pets
*The adoption of animals from shelters and rescue groups around the province
Ruff-Spots is run solely by volunteers. As a Canadian Registered Charitable Foundation, 100% of monies donated go directly to other registered charitable organizations through our Spay/Neuter Program.
We hope that our actions will help reduce overcrowding at local shelters and improve efforts to humanely control the number of unwanted pets in our province.
