The Mississauga Humane Society is dedicated to the care and protection of domesticated animals in our Community. We are a Non-Profit, Registered Charity and endorse the No-Kill policy. Our goal is to rescue unwanted and abandoned animals who may be put to death because of lack of space or sent to testing labs. All rescued animals are assessed and treated by a vet, vaccinated, spayed and/or neutered and microchipped when they come to us. Since we do not yet have sufficient funds for a shelter, the animals are kept in approved Foster Homes or a local kennel until they are adopted. Please help us find loving homes for all unwanted pets. We are always looking for Volunteers and Foster Homes.
