Charitable shelter for stray animals ĞAlmağ was founded in 1998 . (This is what happened to initiate the process.) Several pens with kennels in each were built from scratch. Puppies and sick dogs are kept separately in warm kennels with heaters. As soon as they get here, the dogs receive all necessary shots; during the whole period of their stay at the shelter they are treated from sickness. Females are being sterilized. Life of each particular animal is important for the people who work here, so the dogs are never put to sleep -- they are given a chance to fight to the last. There are more than 250 dogs in the shelter now. Collie, black terrier, mutts of all sizes and ages -- all are eagerly hoping to find a good master.
