We are a non-governmental organization functioning in Sri Lanka. One of our main objectives is to work against cruelty forwards animals. There are large number of starving dogs who cannot find a morsel of food in the road ways and other places in Sri Lanka. We often see them subjected to various diseases, disablement and death as a result of attacks and traffic. We have organized a programme to save them from this pitiful situation. It is being executed in the following manner: (i) prevention of breeding by inoculating the females, (ii) conduct awareness programmers on animal health, (iii) bring pressure on government institutions to prevent slaughter of dogs, (iv) care of helpless dogs, and (v) orphanage for dogs. However our resources are limited we are only able to half these unfortunates to a small number and that too cannot be carried on further without your help.
