C.A.R.E. was born in 1992 when a few caring people came together to help homeless cats and dogs and their human rescuers. We care for approximately 350 homeless cats and dogs at our cageless, strictly no-kill shelter located an hour away from Los Angeles. Many of them have been so traumatized they may never be adopted, and though that saddens us, it's OK because they will be welcome with us always.
