Our mission is to provide a safe and healthy haven for homeless, neglected and abused pets; to care for the pets in our shelter with love and compassion and to secure a loving home for each of them with a no time limit policy. As an organization founded for these purposes we will strive to educate and contribute to the community that supports us whenever possible. Our goal is to no longer be needed. We are a small shelter serving a growing population on the central Gulf coast. We need to replace/upgrade and expand our shelter, especially for our dogs. We always need volunteers for our shelter and thrift shop. The thrift shop is located about 2.5 miles north of Highway 50 on US 19 and is open M - F from 10 to 4, Sat. 9-4. Our shelter is open to the public Wed-Sat from 10-3 and Sun from 1-4, closed to the public Mon. and Tues. for staff training and animal stress reduction. Please call for an appointment if you wish to surrender an animal. Adoption fee: $75 dogs, S50 cats.
