The City has agreed that our volunteer group may handle all adoptions from the City Animal Control Facility. We sp/neut, test, vaccinate, & worm adoptees. Prior to our involvement animals were adopted for a minimal fee w/no treatment or sp/neut, or sometimes just given away, allowing them to reproduce even more homeless animals.
Comments: We are a new organization (March 01) but have already had the opportunity to sp/neut etc. over 70 animals. We hope to grow and perhaps have our own Shelter.
