This is the mission of the Humane Society of Sarasota County. It is what we believe in, and it is what we do. In addition to providing humane education programs for all ages, our facility annually reunites dozens of lost pets with their owners and takes in about 4,000 abandoned animals in need of shelter, food, water, and homes. Our adoption program is committed to finding not only homes for these wayward pets, but homes that will provide them with the love and care that they so desperately need.
