Pet Project is an all volunteer run, 501(c)3, no-kill animal shelter. We service all of LaSalle County in Ill. We have been in operation for 13 years and have saved or reunited over 4500 pets with their owners. Some of our programs are geared to help Senior Citizens, Domestic Violence Persons, Alternative Schools, and education to all people on the importance of the Human-Pet Bond and the relationship between the humane treatment of animals and how it corresponds to the humane treatment of people.We also offer a free lost and found show on our area radio stations. Since, LaSalle County and most towns in our area have no animal control facilities we take as many as we can to our Safe Haven. Others may be adopted from the Vet Clinics in our name. We pay for neuter/spay, all shots, microchip, and all needed tests. We only have cats and dogs. We receive no funding of any kind. Our Motto is Save A Life Adopt a stray- We love them all- big or small.
