The Floyd County Animal Rescue League (FCARL) is a 501(c)3 organization working toward the vision that all animals in Floyd County (IN) will be healthy, happy, and have a loving home. Our mission is to educate the community in the humane treatment of animals and responsible and enjoyable pet ownership, to reduce the number of unwanted animals in Floyd County, and to assist and support the New Albany - Floyd County Animal Control & Shelter through increased adoptions and financial and volunteer support. One of our greatest successes to date is the construction of the new shelter in New Albany.
