MSBRA was founded in December of 2001. We are a organization that is dedicated to finches, canaries, parakeets and other small birds. Our board has decided to add small parrots as well such as cockatiels, lorikeets, parrotletts and Quaker parrots. We support and provide education about birds in captivity. We also place finches, canaries and parakeets that are abandoned, abused, neglected or for what ever reasons their owners can no longer care for them into temporary foster homes until new loving homes are found for them. We are people that own love and care about birds.
