The Mohawk Hudson River Humane Society (MHRHS) of Menands, New York has been providing shelter for stray, abused, and unwanted animals from Albany and Rensselaer counties since 1887. We are a non-profit organization and provide numerous services for animals including basic care for homeless animals while they await their return to a home or adoption. We spay or neuter each animal, if possible, prior to its leaving our facility.
