Our shelter is open to the public seven days of the week from 9 am - 12 pm. We are also open in the evenings around 5 pm. However, we ask that you call to make sure someone is there. We are a non-euthanizing organization. Therefore we have certain policies and procedures about accepting animals into our care. All animals have to have prior approval by the Animal Manager before coming to the shelter. Our first priority is to the homeless and abandoned animals that come through the city pound and local veterinarians. We do accept private pets. However, we ask for a surrender fee to offset medical expenses incurred by the animal prior to adoption.
