Greyhound Welfare, Inc. is a greyhound rescue and placement group staffed entirely by unpaid volunteers dedicated to the welfare of greyhounds. Our organization operations and places ex-racing greyhounds in two primary areas - Mid-Atlantic (DC, MD, VA, WV, and parts of PA) and New England (MA, RI, NH). Our organization is a 100% foster home group where greyhounds live in real homes until they are placed. This helps us introduce each greyhound to their new world and learn more about each individual dog. Knowing are dogs well helps us greatly with our placement success, and helps us better assist our adopters once the greyhound goes to their new home.
