Serenity Springs Sanctuary is a non-profit, "no-kill", 501(c)(3) tax exempt facility. It is located on 25 hilly, heavily wooded acres in Montague County near the town of Forestburg, TX. While potbellied pigs and other porcines make up the majority of the residents, goats, dogs, cats, equines and poultry also reside here. The pigs are in "family" groups and have access to large, safe, shaded areas throughout the woods. They are provided a 36 x 36 barn with 6 large stalls and several medium sized sheds in which to take shelter. The special needs pigs are grouped according to age or disability. It is the goal of the sanctuary to provide a safe environment and loving care to all the animals. We network with all reputible sanctuaries and rescues so that together, we can "make a difference".
