Welcome to the IHS Website
At the Idaho Humane Society we care for over 15,000 homeless animals every year and thanks to the dedication of our staff, volunteers and people like you, we have one of the highest adoption rates in the nation. For more information about the IHS, including contacts, hours, location, and programs & services visit our About Us section.
Find a Friend for Life
If you are looking for a great pet to adopt, visit our Adopt a Pet search page. The IHS shelter has several hundred animals available for adoption. Many but not all of the animals at the shelter are on this website. We update our website every Friday or Saturday. Our most recent update was on November 29, 2008.
Once you find an animal that you like, please visit the Shelter or contact Dee Fugit at 208-342-3508 ext. 2227 for more information.
