  DONATIONS URGENTLY NEEDED!    

 

"We are the voice for those without a voice..and the hope for those without hope".  This has always been my vision, my passion and the very reason I was put on this earth. But doing rescue is physically, emotionally, spiritually and financially draining. The 15 hour days / 7 days a week are especially grueling. You are on call 24/7 and there's no such thing as a "day off", "Holiday" or "Vacation."  However, this is the life I have chosen...or should I say the life that has chosen me. There are evenings where, after a long, hard day, I am so weary and weak, that I feel like the very essence of life has been completely drained from my body. It's those times when I feel I have nothing left to give... when I simply want to give up this fight...Today is one of those days.

 

Right now, our rescue group is in a financial crisis. Due to the staggering number of home foreclosures and employment layoffs, the number of displaced housepets needing rescue has never been greater, yet the number of people wanting to adopt a new family member has never been lower. Understandably, donations come far and few between as people prepare for an uncertain future.

 

We have done the very best we can for as long as we can, despite our dwindling resources. But as of today, we only have enough money to last about 30 more days. Unless a miracle happens, and soon, we will be forced to shut down...and sadly turn away the countless homeless cats who need us the most.

  

You are our last hope. I am humbly asking that you make a Charitable Donation to our organization so we can keep our shelter doors open and our mission alive for many years to come. Over the past 8 years, we've rescued thousands of homeless cats and placed them in loving, adoptive homes. I cannot bear the thought that this could all come to an end. If the dream dies, so will a part of me.

 

Please help! There's so much work to be done...so many lives to be saved...and so little time left.  Please help us continue to be "their voice".
