FFAS is a 501(c )(3) non-profit organization dedicated to
rescuing abused, abandoned and neglected animals in middle Tennessee. The animals taken in
by FFAS are checked by a veterinarian, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and then placed in
our adoption program and housed by a volunteer foster parent. We are committed to
long-term care and placement of all animals that come into Freedom Farm. Therefore,
we do not euthanize as a means of population control or to make room for new animals. Learn more about FFAS.

Pet Celebration 2008 a Huge Success!
A big thank you to all our wonderful sponsors and individuals who donated to this great cause. We thank all the attendees and volunteers
who were brave enough to risk the gas shortage to come out and celebrate the joy of pet ownership. Your donations will help save many lives by allowing FFAS to continue rescuing and providing food, medical and spay and neuter care to needy pets.
Even though Pet Celebration is still overyou can still help by voting for us as America's Favorite Rescue by selecting Tennessee and then searching for Hendersonvile and then selecting us Freedom Farm Animal Sanctuary at
Vote for Us.
God Bless You All for all you do for the Animals!
Adoptions: Currently animals
are available for potential adoption through our sponsor Petsmart locations in
Goodlettsville (Rivergate). Cats are housed on-site at Petsmart's "Luv-A-Pet
Center" during business hours. Dogs are brought on Saturdays from 10 to 2. All
potential adopters must submit an FFAS application, be approved, and then sign a contract
with stipulations concerning the animal's welfare. FFAS insures a proper fit between the
family and their new pet through follow-up contact with the adopter.
FFAS attempts to update this website regularly.
Currently CATS and DOGS are posted with
pictures and a brief description which may identify history, breed, personality and
special needs. Courtesy postings are provided for animals that may be affiliated with other programs. If you are particularly
interested in a certain animal, you may contact the FFAS dog or cat coordinator under "Contact Us" or send a message to the email link
provided with their description. Sometimes people are looking for a
specific breed or need to find certain breed rescue. You can check under
Breed Rescue for more information. You can also find other available rescues locally or
available anywhere in the United States by linking to the 1-800-Save-A-Pet.com web site.
