After 30 years as the Humane Association of Wilson County, we have decided to create a fresh image for our organization. New Leash on Life still consists of the same passionate animal advocates and our mission remains improving the welfare of animals in Wilson County. We feel our new brand more accurately reflects our mission and the wide array of services we offer.

We are not affiliated with animal control in Wilson County and do not serve simply as an animal shelter. New Leash on Life operates a limited admission shelter as well as a wide range of programs that benefit both companion animals and residents in the area.

We are a non-profit organization and operate solely on grants and private donations. These donations help us fund our adoption, spay/neuter and educational programs and will be absolutely necessary in our current effort to build a state-of-the-art animal shelter and adoption center.

New Leash on Life hopes that you will continue to support our organization through your donations, volunteer work and animal welfare activism as we continue our work to improve the welfare of companion animals through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness.
