As adoption and spay/neuter goals are achieved, Maddie's Fund will provide animal welfare groups and private veterinarians with more than $900,000 to save all of the healthy and treatable shelter dogs and cats in Dane County over the next five years.  Click here for more information.

Losing a pet can be unexpected and stressful, but microchipping is a solution to ensure happy reunions.  DCHS is pleased to announce that microchipping services will now be available at the shelter during all open hours!  The cost is $30 for dogs and only $15 for cats.  Click here to find out when we are open and where we are located.
