Blue HAWK is a
Non-Profit, No-Kill 501(c)3
Animal Welfare, Rescue,
and Adoption Organization.

 All of the homeless animals that are rescued by Blue HAWK (Helping Animals with Kindness) are fostered in Norman, Moore, and the surrounding area. After the animals are nurtured back to health, spayed & neutered, given shots & heartworm prevention, they are put up for adoption.
Blue HAWK’s sanctuaries are for homeless, abandoned, and abused animals, including some wildlife and farm animals. 
Blue HAWK (Helping Animals with Kindness) also participates in Trap-Neuter-Release (TNR) as well as the feeding and care of feral cats in various locations.

The sanctuary is located in Slaughterville, Oklahoma on 80 acres, called
"Blue HAWK Farms", and is the  main focus of next year's 12th annual
Blue HAWK’s
“Music For The Animals” benefit concert.

Blue HAWK
 volunteers and its founder Sara Jean Haddock, are currently making plans for the soon-to-be indoor  facility for the dogs. Also we're working on more dog runs, fencing and securing the perimeter of the 80  acres, clearing more  walking paths, and preserving various wildlife habitats.

Plans for Phase II include a mobile "low-cost" Spay and Neuter Clinic to help make Cleveland County “No-Kill”.

Plans for Phase III include an outreach program for other communities,
as well as providing education on the importance of spaying and neutering.

Plans for Phase IV include building a sanctuary to house pets of the terminally ill or deceased who have willed endowments to Blue HAWK for the life-time care of their beloved pets.

The date of the 2009 show will be announced later.
We will have lots of items to auction, speakers, great bands, food, beverages,
 and guests from other rescue organizations. We will also have the annual candlelight vigil for the millions of homeless animals killed at pounds across the nation.

We will be looking for more sponsorships, drawing contributions, artists, volunteers, and animal friendly concessions for our  2009 show. Musicians for next year's show TBA.
