PETS OF THE MONTH!

GRACIE

Gracie is a nice puppy who loves people, is good with kids and other dogs. She needs a home where she will get lots of exercise and play time as she loves to chew on her bones. Some basic obedience classes would help break her puppy impulse of jumping up and chasing cats. Gracie came to the shelter after her owners who loved her, divorced and could not find time to spend with her. She is house broken, crate trained, and up to date on her routine shots.

PEARL

What a beauty Pearl is! She is a Domestic long hair/Mainecoon mix, about 2 years old. She is very affectionate cat who loves people and getting lots of attention and love. Pearl has beautiful green eyes and lots of white hair that will need groomed on a regular basis. She is an indoor only cat and gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is spayed, felv/fiv tested negative, and up to date with vaccinations, avid micro-chipped, and gets advantage monthly. She is house trained and will make a lovely addition to your home.

ADDITION PROJECT

We have been in our four new rooms for five years now but we still are in need of new cage units for these rooms and we are now fund raising and have applied for and recieved a grant ( must get matching funds to begin) to start our next four new rooms of which will be a new cat addition, so we will not have to put new cats in with the long term healthy residents and kittens can have their own space, there will be a new outdoor enclosed exercise area for them and also a grooming room/storage room and a spay and neuter room so to make it easier for our pets to have surgery done and cut down on the stress involved in the process of having this done.

ANGEL PLAQUES

We are still doing our Angel Plaque and for $50.00 you can have a memorial and or in honor plate listed on the plaque. For more info on either of these contact the shelter during our hours of operation. Thank-you to all who have donated!!!!!!!

HOPE FUND

You can donate to this fund of which is used for sick, injured animals that need extra care/surgery to get them into shape to be able to be adopted into a new forever home.
