Welcome to the Moore Humane Society. We are a private, non-profit organization dedicated to protecting
and improving the welfare of animals. Our mission is to foster compassion, responsibility, and respect for all
animals through education, legislative activism, and progressive spay/neuter and adoption programs.

Your support, whether through adoption, volunteering or donation, will greatly help us in our mission and
reduce animal suffering. Together we are creating a more humane world for Moore animals!

November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month!

This month, we encourage you to "Fall in Love" with a senior cat or dog!
There are many advantages to adopting an older animal. They require less
supervision and are less demanding of your time. Since they are all grown up,
they have developed their personality so it is easy to see if they will be a good
fit for your family. Happy to curl up on your couch or at your feet, older
animals’ demanding days are a thing of the past and concentration is on
company.

Allow us introduce you to some of our older residents:

Mufasa was found all alone on the streets. Unfortunately for him, he lost his
way home or may have been abandoned by his owners.

Maddie was found pregnant and alone in a shed, covered in ants.

Goatie is a DSH Orange Tabby whose owner has to find a new home for him
due to personal medical problems she is experiencing.

Please consider making one of these animals a part of your family.
They don't ask for much but give so much more in return!
