CBR is proud to introduce "Captain", our rescue's new mascot!! Captain was dumped at a shelter in NC and was scheduled to be euthanized. One of our director's heard of his situation and rushed to the shelter to save him! He is 13 years old and has a large tumor on his tongue. Captain is not available for adoption! He will spend the rest of his days in her home being loved and spoiled!!

Captain is not doing as well as he was when he first got here and off his antibiotics. He has started moaning and we have a vet appt. to get to the cause of that. He sleeps 23 hours a day. He is now being carried outside to potty. Once out there sometimes he lays down to pee. He does get up though, and walks to finish his business, and walks back inside. So that is good! He is a sweet boy and Im glad CBR gave him a place to rest for his final days. He has been with us for a month and a half.

Our Boxers come to us from shelters, humane societies and directly from owners. They enter into volunteer foster homes throughout both states and live indoors with the foster family and other pets. Each Boxer receives a complete physical, immunizations, sterilization, heartworm test and treatment for any illnesses or diseases.
