08.11.2008.  After being abandoned by her gipsy owner and left to die on a field on 08.04.2008, we took her in our care. 09.09.2008 -29.10.2008. For a month and a half we had two finish volunteers working in the shelter, Inkeri and Tuuli. They have helped us from cleaning, to feeding, taking dogs to vet and assisting surgeries and neuterings, taking dogs for a walk and help with treatments etc….. read more

 

 

 The municipality’s catchers continue the same activity, collecting tens of strays ,in the extremely small cage with the same tools ,that never reach the shelter, or those who arrive in shelter suffer of neglegt and lack of medical care. They also started the building of their new shelter  …..read more

 

 

  September -Octomber 2008 -  the horses left free by their owner are collected and brought to the Public Horses’ Shelter. Unfortunately, there they suffer of thirst, of starvation and the lack of of medical care. As the owners must pay a fee in order to take them back, many refuse to do it, so the Authorities decided to take to slaughterhouse those horses that no one claimsn them……read more
