Cuddles - a rescued kitten

The Cat and Dog Protection Association of Ireland rescues and re-homes abandoned, injured and sick cats, kittens and dogs in Dublin and the surrounding areas. While we care for all animals, we are primarily concerned with the welfare of the cat, in particular the feral (wild) cat.

Unfortunately while we encounter many people who care for all animals, we also see, on a daily basis, animals who are victims of ignorance and cruelty. We do not have a sanctuary for rescued animals. The Society is run by a voluntary committee is we depend on the generosity of the public while acknowledging the assistance of the Department of Agriculture and local authorities.

Rehoming
The Cat and Dog Protection Association has a selection of cats, kittens and dogs looking for homes. We would like to hear from you if you are considering providing a good home for one of these. Part of our philosophy is to promote responsible pet ownership and we operate a comprehensive homing procedure where homes are checked before the animal is placed. Donations are welcome to cover veterinary fees, including vacinations. This ensures that you will receive a healthy animal.

Featured Pet Dog for Rehoming
Buster is a lovely 2 year old Boxer. He is full of energy and needs some training. He is great of the lead but needs some training on it. He would make a great companion for a family with older children. He is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated.
