Neglected Malamutes finding new homes.

With wonderful  assistance of Malamute Rescue , most of the Malamute dogs rescued near Caputa Nov. 21 are either in foster care, or have been adopted.  When they were rescued the dogs had lost half their body weight due to starvation.  The first two weeks at the shelter, some gained as much as 10 lbs.

The Humane Society is very grateful to all the people who offered their homes and families as fosters, and are teaching the dogs how to be pets.  After years in a field breeding for profit, the dogs will know how wonderful life is with a family.

If you are interested in providing a permanent home for one of the dogs, please contact www.malamuterescue.org, or email to k9wolfwoman@yahoo.com.
