Adoptions Counselors Needed-Cats
We are in immediate need of volunteers to staff the Lynchburg PetSmart cat adoption center as adoption counselors. Scheduling is flexible. Adoption counselors are responsible for screening adopters and helping them to complete adoption paperwork. If you are interested in helping the cats in our care find their forever homes, please fill out an online volunteer application or contact us at 821-3034.
Dogs
The Green Dog House needs YOU! The Green Dog House is one of our private foster home locations where dogs and puppies are cared for prior to adoption. We are in need of volunteers to socialize, feed, and walk dogs who are awaiting adoption. If you have two hours of time to donate weekly and enjoy working with dogs, please contact Cheryl at 332-4004.

Kenrick came to us with a mysterious leg injury. Upon
further examination it was discovered he’s been shot!
The shattered bones of what once was his elbow joint
can be seen in the x-ray above, along with what appears
to be the pellets that caused the injury. Kenrick’s leg
is not repairable; instead it needs to be amputated.

Are you looking for a wonderful, well-rounded canine
friend? Berkeley may just be your match. He and his
sister were found as strays and taken into one of our
foster homes where he loves playing with the resident
dogs and the young childrenthat live there.

We provide the vehicle, gas money, and an overnight accommodation. You provide the lifesaving transport for up to 30 dogs.
