The Humane Society of St. Lucie County is....
A nationally accredited non-profit organization dedicated to providing compassionate care and safe shelter for homeless animals and education to the community on responsible companion animal stewardship.
We want to be YOUR FIRST CHOICE SOURCE for adopting a healthy and loving companion.
We want to help all lost companion animals find their human caretakers.
We want to be your first thought on any HOW TO animal questions.
We want to provide the compassionate members of our community a place to make a difference through volunteering.
We want to receive your donations and continue to be the voice for those who can not speak for themselves.
Please Help Us
No shelter has enough cages for all the unwanted animals in the community, but even if we did, no dog or cat should spend his/her life in a cage. Letting domesticated animals run loose is no solution either. On their own they face a certain, and often painful death. Most die of starvation, disease, or are hit by cars. Only by spaying, neutering and adopting animals from shelters will the overpopulation problem ever be resolved. Please help us to stop the killing of healthy, lovable animals! Please spay or neuter your dog or cat today and reduce companion animal overpopulation.
