Featured Pet

Usually this tme of year we see a bit of a slow down in the number of cats coming into GRASP. This is not the case this year. If you've been considering adopting now would be a great time to do so.

We have many wonderful cats of all ages available for adoption. No matter what type - playful, cuddly - or color - calico, tortie, tabby, black or black & white - we are sure you can find the perfect match for you.

To view our list of available cats, just click on the "Adoptable cats" button in the upper right hand corner of this page. All cats and kittens are listed in alphabetical order, so be sure to check out each page frequently since we update daily.

If you see a cat you are interested in (and how could you not?), just complete the online adoption form and a volunteer will contact you. Our adoption fee is as follows:
  • under 6 months is $115
  • 6 months to 7 years is $90
  • 8 years and older is $50
All cats are combo-tested for FIV and Feline Leukemia, receive all age-appropriate vaccinations, and are altered.

Don't forget, we also have dogs looking for permanent homes too!

Not sure what type of pet will fit best in your household? Consider fostering. To apply, simply complete the online adoption form and check foster instead.

November 2008 Update: Foster homes still desperately needed!

GRASP is reaching out to all local residents for help right now as we are in dire need for additional foster space. Would you please consider fostering a healthy, friendly cat or kitten for us? If you can't, do you know of anyone who might consider helping us out?

Before being placed into foster care, all cats and kittens are fully vet checked, tested for feline leukemia and FIV, checked and treated for all parasites and fleas and fully vaccinated, spayed or neutered. GRASP will gladly provide food, litter, litter boxes, dishes and toys. All we need from you is a little extra space in your heart and home.

If you've ever thought about helping out, please make now the time you decide to step-up!

GRASP does not have a pet shelter. All rescued animals stay temporarily in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted into a permanent home. Call 234-1953 or contact one of the Foster Coordinators to become a foster family!
