Fundraising Party - Success - Whats next ?

Thank you to all the contributors of raffle and auction prizes. These hotels, restaurants, artists and local businesses gave freely, out of their love of dogs and support for the work that Care for Dogs does. Without their kind donations we would not have been able to raise so much money.

Thank you to Reenie and Yianni of Zoe in Yellow Lounge Bar and Bistro for their tireless preparation, organization, peace-cheese making, fruit-juicing, bartending and all-around generosity. Lovers of dogs, former adoptive parents of Care for Dogs hounds, and care-takers of Snowball Columbus, they agreed without hesitation to open up their venue in support of this event.
Next week, Care for Dogs will be attending the Nimmanheamin Arts & Design Promenade - The annual event - held during the first weekend of December
Come and see us at Nimmanheamin Soi 1, 5 - 9 December 10am - 10pm!

Puppy – baby – love»

Pearl is at our shelter now, playing with other puppies who had a similar fate, being dumped, forgotten, neglected.

If you are interested in giving Pearl or one of the other puppies a loving family home, please get in touch with us.

**Update one day later**
Our dog caregiver, Khun Saay, found another puppy in front of the shelter. “Diamond” looks like the sister of Pearl and both are reunited now. We checked the area and couldn’t find another one, hopefully no other puppy was dumped in the area, it would have a hard time of surviving without food.

Today Care for Dogs were very pleased to meet up with Artist Otto Berchem who is participating in the Travelling Art Exhibition - ARTAIDS, a group collectively raising awareness and fighting the stigma surrounding HIV in Chiang Mai.
Otto is a dog lover and during his stay in Bangkok, started to distribute dog collars he had specially made, with a personal logo he has designed “You am I am you” in white print on a bright red stylish collar. Nudee Disaster»

Disaster is what this really is!
Apparently yesterday / Friday a woman was driving a car in the car park, talking on the phone and drove straight over the sleeping body of Nudee.

The folks in the park have been offering him food but he was said to be just laying in one spot, in agony and looking very weak.
**Update - Nudee was discharged from hospital yesterday and went to live with Nola’s son Jerry in Chiang Mai. Today (Tues) I spoke with Jerry and I am comforted to know that Nudee is eating well, taking it easy without getting anxious about his new surroundings and already receiving visitors.**
