Urgent Needs Now

We need puppy pee pads, all sizes of collars, leashes, toys, stainless steel bowls, Pedigree Dentabones, and dog crates.
We are using a lot of shavings right now, costing the shelter $3.50 per kennel every 3 days. We would gladly accept UFA gift certificates to help purchase shavings.

Cash donations help us with vet bills, kennel supplies/hardware, crates, traveling, etc.

  • $100 donation can spay/neuter a dog
  • $75 donation purchases a new kennel
  • $50 donation pays for a homeless dog's travel to the shelter

Our dogs love to sleep on Kuranda Dog beds, but we don't have enough for everyone. If you would like to donate a bed at a special wholesale price for a another dog to sleep in comfort, please click here.

 

Misty Creek Dog Rescue 2009 Calendar


This year, Misty Creek Dog Rescue is launching their second annual calendar campaign aimed at raising money to support the shelter’s activities and raising awareness of the importance of spaying or neutering pets. Featuring beautiful professional photography of dogs rescued and placed into forever homes by Misty Creek, the calendars will sell for $10 and are ON SALE NOW. 2000 calendars will be available for purchase online and through various retail locations and
veterinary clinics around Calgary.

Wondering What to Do With Your Canadian Tire Money? 

Donate it to our shelter. We use Canadian Tire Money to buy essential items for the dogs and maintenance items for the shelter. We often purchase dog toys, bowls, leashes and collars, food and crates. We also buy things like laundry soap, paper towels, and items to repair and maintain the shelter.

Can't adopt a real dog?
Why not sponsor one of the dogs at the shelter?

Misty Creek Dog Rescue always has kennels with a dog or two in them. By sponsoring a kennel, you could help to pay for the care of the dog or dog(s) that are in that kennel for their stay with us.  This program was also designed to help with kennel maintenance to replace the panels that the dogs destroy, help pay for utilities, bowls, food, toys, etc.
