Who We Are
Delaware Valley Second Chance For Animals, Inc. is a dedicated group of Volunteers. Our focus is to give displaced, homeless or owner surrendered animals a second chance to find a permanent home. The vast majority of our animals are rescued from over-crowded shelters where they are often in danger of being euthanized.
We have no physical location. All of our furry friends are placed in private foster homes throughout the Delaware Valley. While in foster care, we do our best to ensure that all of our adoptees are healthy and well socialized, so you can concentrate on finding the ideal new addition to your family.
We strive to educate the public about spaying and neutering to help reduce the staggering amount of displaced, unwanted animals. We are also volunteers for the TRENTON ANIMAL Shelter and maintain and update their website, place as many of their animals as possible into our foster care system, and assist with adopting out animals directly from the shelter.
Adopting a friend
All of our adopters must fill out an adoption screening form. If you have questions about a specific animal, please click on the email link below that animal's petnote. If you would like to apply to adopt a pet, you must fill out an ADOPTION SCREENING FORM from this link or from the link on the pet's petnote page.
Please remember to fill out the form completely, including the name of the animal. Any blanks in your application will cause a delay in the processing of your application, and you may miss out on the opportunity to adopt the pet of your choice.
If you would rather choose an animal to adopt in person at one of our adoption sites but would like to be pre-approved, please complete the adoption application above and indicate that the animal you wish to adopt is To Be Determined.

We currently hold Adoption Events every weekend at the PetSmart in Langhorne, PA. Saturdays and Sundays from 12 noon until 4pm. We are even there this holiday weekend! Come see us.
We also hold adoptions at the PetSmart in Delran, NJ every Saturday from 3-7. We now hold adoptions at PetSmart Newtown, PA on Saturdays from 12 noon until 4pm. 2600 S. Eagle Road next to the Farmer's Market - Come see us!!!!
