Iams Home 4 the Holidays Continues Its Mission to Reduce the Number of Orphaned Pets Around the World Through Its Annual Pet Adoption Drive
It's All About the Cats has joined efforts with 2,500 shelters around the world to participate in the annual Iams Home 4 the Holidays (IH4TH) pet adoption campaign, founded by Helen Woodward Animal Center and supported by Iams. It's All About the Cats is participating in the campaign Oct.1, 2008 through Jan. 5, 2009 to help place 1 million pets into homes.
“We’re proud to be a part of the annual campaign – Iams Home 4 the Holidays – and work toward helping place 1 million animals into homes during the holiday season,” said Sheryl Hamilton “This year marks the program’s 10th anniversary, as thousands of shelter partners from around the world come together to help homeless animals. We’re asking everyone to open their hearts this holiday season and be a hero to a pet who needs a home.”
All dogs, cats, puppies and kittens adopted during IH4TH will go home with their new family and an Iams Starter Kit. Included in each kit are information tips to help the new parent and their furry friend get off on the right paw.
“The staff here at It's All About the Cats are fully trained and can help families choose the perfect pet for their personalities and lifestyles,” said Sheryl Hamilton.

Things You Can Do to Help !
ADOPT: If you are looking for a new family member, please consider adopting one of our rescued cats or kittens. For more information on adoption, please see our Adoption Information
VOLUNTEER: If you have a little spare time, please consider volunteering. As little as one hour per week can make a difference in a homeless cat's life. We need volunteers for a wide variety of activities - some of which do not require direct contact with cats for those who may be allergic. For more information about our volunteer opportunities please visit our Volunteering page.
FOSTER: If you are a dedicated cat lover with space in your home and a desire to make a huge difference in the life of homeless cats and kittens, please consider fostering. IAATCI is always looking for foster homes to provide temporary room and board to rescued cats and kittens. For more information about fostering, please call our voicemail system at 407-401-8630 and select option number 7. Leave your name and phone number at the prompt. One of our board members will contact you to explain the program.
IAATCI does not have a shelter - we rely on foster homes. The capacity in our foster homes is severely limited at all times. Therefore, we cannot accept cats and kittens from the general public. If you have a cat or kitten that you have rescued, or if you have a pet cat or kitten that you can no longer keep, we will work with you to find a new home for this animal. However, you must be prepared to serve as a temporary foster home during the period of time that we are helping you. Please note that we will not ask you to foster additional cats for us — only the ones that you currently have in your possession. For more information, please see our Temporary Foster Homes page.
DONATE: If you already have enough cats and are too busy to volunteer, please consider making a donation. IAATCI is a non-profit organization, approved by the Internal Revenue Service as a 501(c)(3) charity. We are registered with the State of Florida Division of Consumer Services to solicit donations. Monetary donations are always appreciated; however, you can also help us by donating supplies or fundraising items.
