Feathered Friends is a board run volunteer organization devoted to the rescue and care of unwanted, neglected and abused pet parrots - big and small. Our goal is to find stable, loving homes for all birds that come to our organization. Presently, FFARRA birds are housed in foster homes until they are permanently adopted. We are working towards the development of an independent housing facility and sanctuary to care for the birds that come to FFARRA.

We are centered in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, with branches and volunteers in Calgary, Lethbridge as well as Grande Prairie to better help birds in need all over the province.

FFARRA is also an educational resource center open to any existing or potential pet bird owners to learn about the needs of birds. Information about daily care, health, nutrition, species information, as well as medical and behavioral research is always available through resources on our site. Experienced volunteers are also an important resource at FFARRA. They are there to answer questions and provide resources about bird care, and to offer help with difficult behaviors that pet bird owners may encounter.
