THE SHELTER PROJECT:
FUNDRAISING TEAM NEEDED
Do you believe that NL needs a no-kill facility for homeless animals; a safe haven where they can live peacefully until adoption? Help us make it a reality!
Our province needs more than a no-kill foster program. Heavenly Creatures has to turn animals away daily for lack of space. It's time we had our own shelter.
For this project, Heavenly Creatures is seeking a team of dedicated volunteers who will focus solely on fundraising and event planning. We need highly-committed and absolutely reliable people who will become an integral part of our animal rescue group.
You will see a project through from inception to clean-up. This includes everything from soliciting donations from local businesses to booking ticket tables and organizing volunteers.
This project entails hard work, and lots of it, answering to the committee chairperson and to the charity's President. Think of it as an unpaid part-time job.
If you're not able to commit that kind of time, please do not apply. If you are, email us with Fundraising Team Member Application in the subject line. Briefly outline your fund raising and volunteer experience and tell us what you can bring to the table.

Save your pennies and small change to help an animal in need! Donate your stacks of coins from around the house or from t  he penny jar at work to Heavenly Creatures.
Collecting coins may seem like a slow method of fundraising, but it's measurable progress; take Pretty Penny, (shown here) for example. With monies raised through donations to Heavenly Creatures, we were able to rescue her from euthanasia.

Got Litter?
We've got lots of dry cat food for our foster cats, but are on the look-out for donations of :
- large, covered litter-boxes
Many of our foster homes have more than one cat, so we run through supplies quickly. If you can help, please call us and we'll arrange to have the donation picked up from you or let you know where you can drop it off. 739-0077.
