Fundraising/Public Relations Coordinator
Tremendous opportunity for energetic volunteer with prior fundraising experience in a nonprofit setting! Hugs for Homeless Animals, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to homeless and displaced animals, seeks. Fundraising/Public Relations Coordinator to develop and implement fundraising program to generate program funds to enhance and support our organization's mission. Candidates must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills including experience in researching and writing press releases and grant proposals.

Kids Connection Supervisor
This position will involve upkeep and maintenance of the Kids Connection section on the H4HA website. The supervisor will monitor and interact with kids, organize contest and project ideas, write articles. Must have access to the Internet. The ability to organize is a must! You must be dedicated and willing to work towards the mission of the organization.

Newsletter Editor
This position involves research and writing articles for the quarterly newsletter published 4 times a year, and involves entering information into Lotus WordPro for publishing. The editor will also be in charge of soliciting articles from other writers. This position involves a heavy workload, with a necessity for precise and careful work, and an ability to keep deadlines. The Newsletter Editor must have experience in writing, esp. newsletter/article writing. The ability to organize is a must! Please provide a resume and writing samples. Computer skills necessary, particularly with Lotus WordPro. You must be dedicated and willing to work towards the mission of the organization.

Online Research Assistants
Searching the Internet and providing information based on various projects. Long-term or short-term assignments. Internet access knowledge of search engines.

Snuggles Project Coordinator
The ideal person for this job will have experience in project management, creative writing, and have sufficient time to address the needs required to the day-to-day correspondence, preparation of the monthly newsletter, pattern development, supervision of the website forums, and further advancement of the project. Must have access to the Internet. Must have working knowledge of the handcraft arts (crochet, knit, sewing). Must be dedicated and committed to at least two years of service. This position is a management position reporting to the CEO.

Volunteer Coordinator
Responsibilities for this job include: Recruit volunteers and match skills or organization needs, Coordinate orientations for all new volunteers, Coordinate volunteer appreciation events, Maintain volunteer schedule and contact information, Maintain/update volunteer handbook, Coordinate volunteer online newsletter.
Qualifications: Good organizational skills, Management ability, Good people skills, Basic computer skills, Self-directed, Willing to commit to a long-term relationship, Six or more hours per week time commitment is desired. Note: this virtual job can be done from home or work, wherever you have a computer, hours are flexible.

Webmaster
You must be dedicated and willing to work towards the mission of the organization. The person who will be considered for this position must have at least five years experience using HTML, CSS; database management (MySQL, SQL); scripting languages: CGI, Perl, PHP; and a working knowledge of portal administration. No usage of Front Page or similar html editor. Please provide a resume and samples of your work.
